Best known for the NBC/Universal remake of Francis Ford Coppola’s DEMENTIA 13, New York based filmmaker Richard LeMay has been working in the film industry for years. After the success of the low budget indies 200 AMERICAN and WHIRLWIND, he went on to write, produce and direct the award winning NAKED AS WE CAME which opened in theaters across the country to critical acclaim. The New York Times calls it “a lovely surprise of a film.” and the Huffington Post calls it “Stunning… a class act.”
Richard has also produced several feature films including WATER starring Michael Shannon (BOARDWALK EMPIRE, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD – Oscar nominee) and Idina Menzel (RENT, GLEE) as well as CHILDREN OF GOD, winner of 27 awards internationally. CHILDREN OF GOD can be seen on SHOWTIME.
His newest feature, BLOOD BOUND (starring Eden Brolin) which he wrote, produced and directed, was released to critical acclaim. It has been called “one of the best horror movies of the year.” Richard has also been producing/directing several TV series for Discovery ID.
